Condition guide
When considering a vehicle donation, it's important to understand the different conditions vehicles can be in. Running vehicles are ideal, but we also accept those that aren't operational. Non-running vehicles might still have value in terms of parts or scrap. As long as a vehicle can be picked up and legally donated, we want to help. Additionally, vehicles with salvage titles can be accepted but may require a little more discussion about their condition and potential value to ensure they can benefit our mission.Title status
| Title status | Accepted? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| clean title | yes | Vehicles with a clean title are straightforward and can be processed quickly, maximizing their value to the community. |
| salvage | with restrictions | Salvage titles can be accepted, but we will assess the vehicle's condition to determine its potential for donation. |
| rebuilt/reconstructed | case-by-case | Vehicles that have been rebuilt or reconstructed will be evaluated individually to ensure they can still serve a purpose. |
| lienholder present | case-by-case | If a vehicle has an existing lien, we may require additional steps or permissions before processing the donation. |
| missing title | with restrictions | Vehicles without a title can be accepted, but we need to verify ownership and may require more paperwork. |
